Not really pictures of pollen, but illustrating somewhat how I see the world after pollen have had a go at my eyes and sinuses....
Springtime has come
The lensbaby optic set comes with four 'lenses' with five options
pinhole, zone plate, plastic, single glas and double glas
The images below show the same motif with the different lenses
Just a quick example of the overall effect at extremes
Pinhole / Zoneplate
Plastic full aperture & at f/22
Single glass full aperture & at f/22
Double glass full aperture & at f/22
Some pictures experimenting with the Lensbaby pinhole optic.
All images 'straight' from the camera
the only postprocessing applies is
- removal of sensor spots which really show up with a pinhole
- correcting lens distortion
- straightening the horizon
Getting the composition right is quite a hassle since the viewfinder is almost completely blacked out at f/170. It takes a while to see anything at all in the viewfinder letting my eye get used to the darkness...
A lovely day in April
Some trees, an abstract and some sheep. It was great to be outside for a while...
Saturday Afternoon, 2013 April 13, Amsterdam
Walking around town experimenting with my lensbaby double glass optic.
All shot at f/4
A couple of city impressions...
